Minneapolis Work Trip 2011

Haven't updated this in a while.

Wondered if I can do this quickly, say 15 mins?

Finally got a chance in late Jun 2011 to venture out into USA to the company HQ for a meeting, how cool is that.. Finally like after 5 years?? lol....

A 20 hours flight await us...

At 0550 u know....

7 hours later @ Narita Airport....

1st time eating Ramen + Gyoza in Japan

4 hours delay

Another 13 hours in the air...

Finally reached St.Paul International Airport...... Took us another 1 hour+ to clear the customs... this is getting weary... Time to go get a car ^^

I think it took another 40 mins on the road before I reached the hotel... phew!! 1st time driving in a foreign country, using left hand drive (or some say driving on the wrong side of the road.. lol) Lots to learn and adapt quickly for the next few days here..

Nothing much going on for today... Too much traveling done in a day.. off to bed...

Spent the whole day shopping here... As it is summertime here, the day stretches very long. When it was 6pm, the sky is still very bright. No more energy left after all the walking and shopping here. We decided to pop by Wayzata Bay..

Went for a spin around this area before turning back to the hotel to rest..... spent a very relaxing weekend here before going to work tomorrow....

Its so huge that there are 4 anchor tenants and a indoor theme park...

Dinner at the dungeon.. lol..

Their food portion is always so huge that u can divide it into 2 and it still looks very decent for 2 pax.

Realised i didn't take a photo of the hotel until the last night...

In short, pace of living was pretty slow here... I could make do with a job here and have a better work life balance.
