Sunday happenings...

Weather: Morning wet, afternoon hot, night humid

Wat a crappy match last nite between Holland and Russia..
Holland lost 1-3 to Russia. Russia was leading 1-0 until the 86th min when Van Nistelrooy scored the equaliser...
Went into extra time and Russia emerged victorious.
Was on MSN with Whitedusk throughout the match and he thought that Russia will win.
I was thinking, Holland's best bet was to drag the match till penalty shootout.
Honestly speaking, Holland deserved to lose for the performance that it gave.

Went to sleep at 6am.

Was woken up at 12+pm by
the ger, asking me if I want to go to City Square. Basically, the idea is to go to the MANGO sale that's making all the girls in town crazy.
If we went to any of the MANGO shop in Singapore, a few things will happen.
  1. Go to town with all the heavy traffic.
  2. Have to find a place to park... hey, don't think that riding a motorbike gives u the privilege of parking anywhere ok! Especially in town, even if you are willing to pay, alot of shopping centers don't even want to let you in. Park on the pavement and risk S$70 fine.
  3. Worst thing to happen while shopping, every mother father's daughter will be in the shop. Squeeze and fight over all the clothes that are on sale in the shop. Q for 30 mins to try the clothes, Q another 15 mins to pay for them.
  4. Worst thing to happen for me, I will just be a kuku waiting outside like all mother father's son.
So, going to JB seems to be a better alternative.
  1. Going to city square is faster/easier then going to Orchard.
  2. No, I did not ride in. The crime rate in there is scary enough to leave xiaohei at home.
  3. With the exchange rate going up nowadays (S$1:RM2.38), things are a little cheaper there.
The MANGO stuff is also cheaper then those in Singapore, the shop is bigger and you have space to move around or idle there.
  4. You get to eat good food at lower price compared to Singapore.
Ok, these are what I had for dinner just now. This is a restoran (melayu spelling) called KimGary. Seems like there is 1 outlet at Vivocity and quite a num in HK and Msia as well.

My Starter, Bread with condensed milk and butter

My Ice Yuan Yang

My Main dish, 五香肉丁面。
Don't think that this is just a simple dish ok.
This brand "五香肉丁"
is baned in Singapore and I have not eaten this for months.

This is what she ate. It's called 海陆空. Haha.. sounds like some army term right.
Presenting to you, fish, chicken and pork. Each represents part of the dish name.

Desert was 芒果棉雪冰. Nothing fantasic about this, I've tasted much better ones in Taiwan.

And seems like this restaurant is endorsed by this HK actor, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤).

Went back after eating and it's pretty fast.. surprisingly no jams.
30 mins later I am at home.
Took CW1 from JB to Kranji MRT, stopped at Yew Tee MRT and walked home.
